Mississauga is easy to navigate by car or public transportation because it is served by several major highways, including The Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW). Jack Darling Memorial Park

Jack Darling Memorial Park is one of the best parks in the city, having been named a TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice for 2020. It’s the ideal place to spend the day. There are many activities to do in Jack Darling Memorial Park, whether you’re looking for a place to take your kids or a place to take your date.
Jack Darling Memorial Park has 5 large parking lots (free parking), a beach and waterfront, an off-leash dog park, a tennis court, a large field, and picnic areas.
Driving Directions
If you’re coming from the east, take Lake Shore Road West to the park’s entrance on the south side.
If you are approaching from the west, you will pass through Clarkson Village. As you drive out of Clarkson, the road will gradually descend, and the park will be on your right at the lowest point.
Off Lakeshore Road, there are two entrances. The second, because the first does not grant you access to the park.

Despite any lack of markings on the fields there are plenty of open areas to play. Whether your sport is soccer, badminton, or volleyball, there’s plenty of room to setup and have fun!

Port Credit

Port Credit is a hidden gem by the lake in the GTA. It’s a picturesque town with leafy parks, cycling trails, breathtaking views, and even fishing on the Credit River. Port Credit has something for everyone, whether you want to relax, play, or eat.
Walking down Port Credit’s main street, you’ll notice that the atmosphere is buzzing with activity and vibrant entertainment, with cafes, bars, restaurants, and an emerging arts scene.
The pier overlooking the Credit River is one of Port Credit’s most popular hangouts. Park benches line the pier, providing a comfortable rest stop on your bike ride or a place to relax and take in the scenery after dinner.
The Credit River is a river in southern Ontario that flows from headwaters near Orangeville and Caledon East above the Niagara Escarpment to Lake Ontario at Port Credit, Mississauga.
A lighthouse stands guard over Port Credit’s harbour. It is a working lighthouse visible from 15 miles out on Lake Ontario, built in 1991 to replace the original lighthouse destroyed by fire in 1936. The deck provides an excellent view of the Credit River, as well as the picturesque harbour and village of Port Credit. The Lighthouse is home to many organisations dedicated to preserving its history while also ensuring that it is accessible to visitors all year. Art gallery of Mississauga

Mississauga Art Gallery is the city’s only public art gallery and has been welcoming visitors for over 30 years. The Gallery hosts a number of exhibitions that focus on Canadian art. They have five galleries that provide visitors with a variety of experiences.

Rattray Marsh Conservation Area

The Rattray Marsh is a green space in Mississauga with an attractive natural setting. This environmentally sensitive wetland, one of the last remaining lakeside marshes between Toronto and Burlington, provides a unique experience for nature lovers.
Though the bird life at The Rattray Marsh changes with the seasons, you can expect to see wood warblers, eastern kingbirds, tree swallows, grey catbirds, and spotted sandpipers.
Rabbits, beavers, deer, and foxes are among the animals that live in the marsh. The vocal spring peeper, American toad, turtles, snakes, and other creatures are also present.
Riverwood Conservancy

Visiting Riverwood Conservancy allows you to discover one of Mississauga’s natural treasures. It’s a great place for a peaceful walk with a view of the gardens, a picnic lunch, or finding a quiet place to read. It’s no surprise that it’s one of Mississauga’s most popular spots, with amenities like free parking, scenic trails, historic buildings, and well-kept gardens.
Riverwood Conservancy provides trails throughout the park, giving visitors a variety of options as they explore this 150-acre property. There are numerous well-marked trails suitable for people of all ages.

Square One Shopping Centre has 330 stores, including a large selection of fashion labels, entertainment, and dining options. This mall has everything you need for your daily needs or that special someone on your shopping list. Spend the day shopping and then watch a movie or play some games in the Rec Room at night.
