Perth County
Perth County is a county in Canada’s southwest province of Ontario. Its surroundings include Huron County to the west, Wellington County to the east, Oxford County to the south, and Grey County to the north. It is situated in the centre of Southwest Ontario. Stratford, the county’s administrative centre, is well-known for having the Stratford Festival Theatre. Listowel, Perth East, West Perth, St. Mary’s, and North Perth are some of the additional communities in Perth County.
Perth County is well-known for its long history of agriculture and is home to several successful agri-food companies. A variety of parks and conservation areas, including the well-known Perth County Conservation Area and Wildwood Conservation Area, are also located within the county.
The area is also a centre for the arts and culture, with numerous performances in theatres, galleries, and music festivals every year. The Perth County Courthouse, the McCully’s Hill Farm, and a variety of other historic sites and landmarks are all located within the county.
