Hespeler
In the Canadian province of Ontario’s Waterloo Region, in the city of Cambridge, is the community of Hespeler. Midway through the 19th century, a little community that had grown up around a sawmill and a gristmill was abandoned. Today, it is renowned for its storied downtown, parks, and green areas, as well as its thriving neighbourhood.

Hespeler’s historic downtown is home to a wide range of stores, eateries, and enterprises, many of which are housed in old structures.
Mill Pond is a well-liked location for fishing, kayaking, and picnics and is situated right in the middle of Hespeler. Other animals that live there include swans, ducks, and geese.
Hespeler Memorial rink: This community rink is host to a number of ice sports, including hockey and figure skating. It also conducts a number of neighbourhood initiatives and events.
Hespeler Village Market: From May through October, this outdoor market is held on Saturdays and hosts a number of regional artisans selling homemade crafts, baked goods, and fresh food.
Hespeler legacy Centre: This museum features displays on the town’s history and legacy as well as information on its local businesses, activities, and culture.
